Delia Derbyshire was a pionier in what we call electronica music. She worked for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, that created experimental eletonic sounds for the British media service of the 1960′s and 70′s. Oh yeah.. she even was at the time uncedited for making this..
Here’s some rare footage of her in the Radiophonics lab, where there worked with that big reel to reel tape machines.
