The producers decided for the new season to devote it’s efforts to one continuing story arc. “The Key To Time”, it also introduces us to a brand new companion for or fourth Doctor, The sexy Romana. A god like being known as the White Guardian sends the Doctor on a quest threw space and time to collects pieces of a powerful key to do something amazing and god like.

An even better Romana is regenerated in the following season as it’s story editor for that season in Douglas Adams (the Hitchiker’s Guide To The Galixy, dude). We also see the return of Davros and the Daleks in ‘Destiny of the Daleks’.

The Doctor and K-9 are introduced to Romana who is assigned to aid in the quest for The Key to Time.

I use to think Romana was SO hot. And the scarf is 23.0085302 feet according to Prime. I always hear 25 feet with the original scarf. That may include the fringe thought.

  2. Raolin Says:

Uuggg sorry for the typos on that last one. Been up over 30 hours now.

  3. revolutuck Says:

Both Romana’s were very hot. Tom even married the blond one, Lalla Ward. I’ll cover all of that next time. There were at least 3 or 4 scarfs through the entire TB run including the final season’s red one. Plus, that computer was using that there British math…

  4. Raolin Says:

Yeah they did have multiple scarves of verying lengths The original made by Begonia Pope was 20 ft long. I’ve heard 25 as well but not that big a deal. I’m not sure that one ever made it on air. I believe there was a 17 ft, 12 ft and a 10 and a half foot version. I’m not sure how long the red scarf was.
